Our Favourite Essential Oil Recipes

We love essential oils. They are a much safer way to scent yourself, your clothing, your home and car, as well as your cleaning routines. If you have fragrances in your life in the form of perfume, air freshener, scented soaps and detergents or candles we highly recommend that you consider changing to essential oils. Do it for your health!

With that in mind, it is important to use caution with essential oils. They are potent and powerful. They can also be too much for some people and some essential oils are hard for pets. Just remember, a little bit goes a long way, start slow and increase as needed.

Below we have a few of our favourite recipes to get you started on your essential oil journey. We hope you enjoy!

Essential oils/uses

For stress/anxiety: 2 drops ho wood 2 drops lavender 1 drop rosemary 

For sleep: 2 drops lavender 1 drop orange 1 drop frankincense 

For uplifting mood: 2 drops orange 2 drops lemongrass 1 drop geranium 

For energy/focus: 2 drops lemon 1 drops peppermint 1 eucalyptus 

For a cold: 2 drops peppermint 2 drops eucalyptus 1 drop tea tree 

For immune boosting: 2 drops lemon 2 drops rosemary 1 drop tea tree
